Melissa Lin (she/her) enjoys working with people of all ages, fostering curiosity and creativity, and creating collaborative spaces where individuals can learn and grow.
Since 2009, she has contributed to numerous school leadership projects and initiatives through the Quality Measures Center (QM Center) at EDC. Melissa thrives on bringing together diverse partners in principal preparation—including program providers, district and regional leaders, and state education agencies. She supports cross-organizational teams in translating creative ideas and visions into accessible products, processes, and systems.
In 2023, Melissa also began serving as webinar coordinator for the National Center for Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS), co-led by EDC and Georgetown University. NCHBHS is part of the Office of Head Start’s Training and Technical Assistance System, which works to build the capacity of Head Start and other early childhood programs.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Connecticut. She enjoys learning new games, drawing, crafting, music, and reading and watching mysteries. Her greatest joy is being a mom of two boys, alongside her husband.
