Why we selected this as an exemplar: While this artifact supports some elements of the criteria for this indicator, our team thought it was a great example of how programs can go above and beyond in creating accessible workspaces for their candidates. Notifying people in advance of the physical requirements for participation (for example, letting students know they will spend a considerable length of time using the Internet or significant amount of time with small groups) supports student ability to plan ahead and set themselves up for success based on their individual needs.
